After a three-month hiatus, Kristi is back in the world of public blogging! Kristi in Japan is still up, but I'm no longer updating it, for obvious reasons.
So what's new? Since Japan, I've moved to Berkeley, California and started a Ph.D. in Political Science at the University of California, Berkeley. So far, things are great! I'm working hard, taking classes on quantitative analysis (statistics), comparative politics and state-society relations in China. And I have a cute little studio apartment close to campus, convenient for lots of studying. :)
